Cape Ann Museum is presenting an opening community celebration for the Cape Ann Museum Green

On Saturday, September 25, 2021, the Cape Ann Museum is presenting an opening community celebration for the Cape Ann Museum Green. Finished in 2020, the CAM Green was used for innovative projects during the COVID Pandemic. The Museum is excited to be able to invite the public to explore this new community and cultural resource. Spend the day picnicking on the Green, learning about the historic houses, viewing art in the Janet + William Ellery James Center, and making art of your own!

Bartlet Mall Day

Bartlet Mall Day is a fun family afternoon with live music hayrides and more in Newburyport Massachusetts

Learn about the history of the Barlet Mall, including information on Victorian era landscape architect Charles Eliot, the significance of the George Washington statue, the oldest functioning courthouse in the nation, how rope was made at the Mall, and a World War I memorial to a native son. Newburyport Preservation Trust, Historic New England, the Old Museum of Newbury, and others will be on hand to share their knowledge.

Andover Thrives Community Day

Andover Thrives Community Day is a celebration of community, history and family.

Andover is celebrating 375 years! The Town’s 375th Committee invites everyone to join them on Saturday, September 25 from 10 AM – 7 PM at the lower Shawsheen playground and track. Community Day will offer a variety of day/early evening activities including entertainment, classes, food booths, informational booths, performances, a movie on the big LED screen, laser light show and an illumination of the Shawsheen River! There will be fun for everyone. The event is free and open to the public.

All Earth Day activities are included with paid admission and free for museum members

Gloucester Meetinghouse Foundation hosts a fun day of film and community fun for families at Cape Ann Community Cinema! It opens with refreshments at 10:00am and runs to 4:00pm. The event features two great movies plus games, prizes, face-painting, presentations, making indoor snowmen from white socks (bring extras!) and a pizza lunch. Please note this event is free for kids (best for ages 6-12) and their parents/guardians, thanks to the generosity of our Series Sponsors.

Kids will have a blast at Fun Day 4 Kidz in Gloucester!

Kick off the Summer with your kids at a fundraiser event in downtown Gloucester!  Bring them to Gorton's in Downtown Floucester to play around on bounce houses, slides, dunk tanks and interactive games. There will be face painters, slush, a DJ, hamburgers, hot dogs, popcorn and much more. Purchase tickets for the rides and that's all there is to it. All proceeds benefit The JJ Nicastro Foundation.
