April Vacation Week at Maritime Gloucester

Kids ages 6-10 will love the engaging, interactive and fun April Vacation drop off programs at Maritime Gloucester.

Maritime Gloucester has planned some interesting programs  for kids during April Vacation 2024! The programs are geared towards learning about life in the sea, around it and on it! Four sessions are offered through the week for kids ages 5-10, with age-based groups for kids aged 5-7 in the morning and  8-10 in the afternoon. These sessions are part story, part presentation and part art or craft project. Kids will learn about sea life, coastal habitats and the food chain that supports us all!

Learn about some of the strangest ocean creatures during April Vacation at Maritime Gloucester, Massachusetts!

Maritime Gloucester invites kids ages 5-10 to a vacation week session about some of the stranger creatures found in the ocean - part of a week full of educational sessions during April vacation! Although only 5% of oour ocean has been explored, some of what has been discovered has proven to be incredibly strange.

February Vacation Week at CAM

Come explore the Cape Ann Museum with your family during February Vacation in Gloucester, Massachusetts!

Put on your winter coat and visit the Cape Ann Museum during February School Vacation Week! The Museum will be free for school-age children, 18 and under, and their guardians from Tuesday, February 20 – Thursday, February 22. On Friday, February 23 the Museum will have free admission for all visitors thanks to generous support from the Highland Street Foundation’s Winter Camp Initiative.

Please join us as we bid farewell to a year packed full of gatherings for one final hurrah on December 31st at the Cape Ann YMCA, 6:30-8:30pm. Expect dazzling lights, warm beverages, delicious sweets, exciting music, and a community countdown to 2024! Once there, our staff will lead you in a solstice ritual of reflection and meditation around the fire, looking back on the past year and welcoming the new year, celebrating the end of days getting darker and looking forward to the increasing of the light. Winter Lights on Cape Ann

Celebrate the season with holiday light displays in Gloucester, Essex, Ipswich, Manchester-by-the-Sea, and Rockport.

The Annual Winter Lights on Cape Ann is a festive event celebrating the holiday season, running from late November through New Year's Day. Over 100 local businesses in Gloucester, Essex, Ipswich, Manchester-by-the-Sea, and Rockport are participating by decorating their storefronts with lights and creative displays. A decorating contest is back by popular demand, allowing visitors to vote for their favorite decorated business in each of the five communities.
