Family Spring Planting to Benefit The Food Project NorthShore MA

Usher in spring with Women in Action on Saturday, April 6th from 9:30-11:30a.m. by helping The Food Project start seedlings in the greenhouse at Glen Urquhart School in Beverly. Women in Action is dedicated to increasing access to nutritious food and physical activity for underserved children.  Last year, volunteers helped start 4,864 seedlings for The Food Project's North Shore farms in just one morning. Open to individuals, families, and friends (kids age 5 and up).  Free event, RSVP required to clippie@nsuw.org

Who Knows? A Fabulous Opportunity for 7th & 8th Graders at Pingree School

Attention 7th & 8th Graders- Don't miss this after school classes for middle school students in Playwriting, Electronic Music, Robotics, Ceramics, Chemistry and Forensics, Making Comics and Graphic Novels, and Math and Logic Games. Taught by Pingree School faculty. 

Who Knows?, Pingree's program for middle school students that offers a selection of enrichment courses for kids in grades 7 and 8 taught by Pingree faculty, begins its spring season on April 5, and will meet Fridays for five weeks from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

GUS Students Work to Provide “Food and a Future” for Children of NPH Orphanage

This April students at Glen Urquhart School will travel to the Dominican Republic, where they will spend one week working and playing with over 200 children from an NPH orphanage. For the past nine years, Glen Urquhart has been working with NPH, (Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos, Spanish for “Our Little Brothers and Sisters”) a charitable organization, which serves orphaned and abandoned children in South America.

The Annual Hampton Beach, NH Master Sandsculpting Competition 2025
