Flower Pop at MarketStreet Lynnfield

Flower Pop at MarketStreet Lynnfield

Spring is here to stay, and that’s certainly worth celebrating. Look out for an artful – and unexpected – burst of fresh florals popping up at MarketStreet this Mother’s Day weekend. Plus, every snap of this Instagram-worthy installation that’s tagged on social will earn $1 for @Rosies_Place, a Boston-based shelter that supports local women in need.
Stay tuned for more details! #FlowerPop

Inviting shoppers to revel in springtime florals by the thousands while celebrating Mother’s Day, #FlowerPop, a pop-up experience consisting of bursts of blooms that give back, is coming to MarketStreet Lynnfield this Mother’s Day weekend: May 12 and May 13, 2018. Throughout the weekend, blooms from #FlowerPop will be given away to the first 100 people stopping by each day, and making this Instagram worthy activation a charitable one, $1 will be given to Rosie’s Place, a local non-profit serving women in need, for every social media post using #FlowerPop. MarketStreet Lynnfield is located at 600 Market Street Lynnfield MA. www.marketstreetlynnfield.com  |  @marketstreetlynnfield

Once onsite, head to MarketStreet Lynnfield’s iconic Hilltop Cows, located in MarketSquare, to find them dressed with over 3,000 fresh blooms. The North Shore’s Salvy the Florist will create MarketStreet Lynnfield’s version of #FlowerPop using roses, lilies, snapdragons, delphinium, tropical and wildflowers, to name a few.

#FlowerPop is created by WS Development, which developed and leased MarketStreet Lynnfield in a partnership with National Development. In addition to MarketStreet Lynnfield, #FlowerPop will come to the Seaport District, The Street (Chestnut Hill), Derby Street Shops (Hingham), and Legacy Place (Dedham) on May 12 and May 13, 2018.

“From leading national concepts and best of locals, to interactive art installations and programming, each of our shopping destinations prioritizes creating vibrant, onsite experiences that serve their community and tell a story. #FlowerPop is yet another means of delivering on this aspiration. Whether shopping, strolling or brunching this Mother’s Day weekend, it is sure to enhance the moment with fresh, colorful blooms. Most importantly though, we are thrilled to be making this experience all the lovelier by aligning with Rosie’s Place, which has been serving Boston women in need since 1974,” says Lindsay Binette, Director of Field Marketing, WS Development.

“Rosie’s Place is so pleased that WS Development has thought of us and the mothers we serve on Mother’s Day,” said Michele Chausse, Director of Communications, Rosie’s Place. “Donations such as these are critical to our ability to serve more than 12,000 poor and homeless women each year. We are grateful.”
