Attend Spring Farm School at You do not have access to view this node and see the new chickens laying, the baby lambs romping, the winter pigs rooting and the seedlings sprouting in the greenhouses we just finished recovering. April vacation is the perfect time to really see a burst of spring. Walk around the farm, listen to the birds, look for bugs and maybe even gather a few fresh eggs. The farm stand will be open also in case you need milk, honey, meat... or whatever wonderful food you have been missing.

The farm educational programs are intended to expose children and adults to real farm life, from the organic vegetable production to the heritage breed animals and sustainable practices. Classes meet at the farmstand. In the event of rain, classes are held either in a greenhouse or under the tent. Participants should wear farm appropriate clothes including closed-toe shoes or boots, clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and wear sunscreen and bug spray. Classes are open to the general public.
