Author and expert on parenting in the digital age, Catherine Steiner-Adair, Ed D will speak at Glen Urquhart School on January 27 at 8:30 AM. Steiner-Adair will speak with parents in the morning and meet with students, faculty, and administrators during the remainder of the school day.

The author and educator contends that not only do chronic tech distractions have deep and lasting effects, but children desperately need parents to provide what tech cannot: close, significant interactions with the adults in their lives. She also offers advice on how to turn technology into an ally for closeness, creativity, and a sense of community.
