Imagination Movers at the Cabot Theater

Imagination Movers will perform live at the Cabot Theater in Beverly Massachusetts!

The Imagination Movers return to the Cabot Theatre in Beverly, MA (25 miles outside of Boston) to perform high-flying (toilet paper that is), smoke ring-skying (can you say, "Vortex!"), and new song stylings for everyone to enjoy. Come spend an amazing and interactive Sunday with your family and the Movers as they rock the house, starting at 2 pm (doors open at 1 pm). Limited Meet and Greet packages available.

Imagination Movers Theme Song

In 2002, four New Orleans friends– Rich Collins, Scott Durbin, Dave Poche, and Scott “Smitty” Smith– had an idea.

They thought kids wanted and deserved music that spoke to them, not down to them. So, they started gathering after their kids’ bedtimes to write songs and brainstorm ideas about a children’s television show.

Celebrating over 20 years of entertaining families, you can watch the 76 episodes of their Emmy-winning “Imagination Movers” TV show on the Disney+, or listen to the Movers’ songs, a catalog of more than 250 original compositions, which continue to populate the playlists of families everywhere.

In 2021, 8 Pound Gorilla Records released “Happy To Be Here,” the Imagination Movers’ five-song EP; it promptly entered the Top 10 of Billboard’s Kid Albums Chart and the song Leaves Fall Down received an honorable mention in the Great American Songwriting Contest.

Presently, the Movers are dropping a compilation album, entitled Coveralls: Songs from the Imagination Movers, featuring artists like ska-legends Mustard Plug, Brooklyn-based Laundry Day, Canadian-band Soul Push, Celtic Folk rockers Carbon Leaf and others covering (or better yet reinterpreting classic Mover songs).

And the Movers will be releasing its first new album since 2018 this year, tentatively titled Blue Skies.
