Sunday STEAM Club at North Shore Children's Museum

Join in on Sundays at 2:30 for STEAM Club for ages 5-11. Each week participants will explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math with our NSCM staff! Every STEAM club session will see your kids participating in hands-on activities while exploring a new topic. Space is limited, please add a participant ticket to your cart along with admission for your entire party.

Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead at Hamilton Wenahm Public Library focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics

Experiment, imagine and explore at this STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) program that will spark interest, build curiosity and engage creativity. Designed for children ages 6-10 years. No registration needed. Sign in upon arrival. Arrive early to guarantee a spot.

Drop-in Seed Planting at North Shore Children's Museum

Seed planting workshop at North Shore Children's Museum in Peabody Massachusetts

Come to the museum to join volunteers from Newhall Fields for a very special planting program. Kids will get a chance to plant seeds, learn more about the anatomy of seeds and plants, color, and dress up. This program is drop in from 1-3PM, and included with your admission to the 12-2PM or 2-4PM play session.

Essex Public Library hosts a "Buildwave" STEM workshop for kids in grades K-7! Buildwave is a creative building program that feels like a video game! Over the course of this workshop, students create with over a dozen different building materials including "Lego" "PlusPlus" and custom-made Buildwave materials. The workshop is structured like a video game, with an audiovisual setup featuring animations and music that guide students through the different building waves.

The Young Gloucester Scientist's Club meets frequently in and around Cape Ann to explore scientific subjects through experiential learning when possible. Hosted by the Sawyer Free Library the club is designed to nurture interest in science in a group setting. Late August's session is a day outing to the Burnham Field Community Garden.
