The Marblehead Festival of the Arts hosts its 58th Performing Arts Program featuring 16 acts over 4 nights and 3 days. As always, we thank the Town of Marblehead for the opportunity to present our program in the beautiful natural concert venue that is Crocker Park and to you, for your generous support of the Festival all these 58 years!
Amesbury Days is a a 8-day celebration of all things Amesbury that kicks off the summer with fun and exciting community events in Amesbury, Massachusetts. Fireworks, a block party and a 5k walk/run will be just some of the highlights of this years' Amesbury Days celebration. There will be events for the whole family over the course of 12 days with activities and celebrations drawing people from within and around the city.
The fun starts when 200 tons of imported sand is dropped on Hampton Beach and the “Grady Bunch” starts pounding up the sponsor site. The entire area is illuminated for night viewing through June 23rd. Watch Greg Grady and “The Grady Bunch” build a mammoth Sand Demo Site.
Celebrate the start of summer at Salisbury Beach with the Summer Kick Off! Fun for the whole family! The beach front stage comes alive for an afternoon of live entertainment, kids’ activities, the ever-popular Beach Pizza Eating contest, face painting and so much more! The evening is topped off with a Free outdoor concert with Roomful of Blues followed by Spectacular Fireworks!
Join the fun in Essex for their 200th Birthday celebration featuring all kinds of food trucks including Indian food, The Farm Bar and Grille, Pomodori’s Pizza, Trolley Dogs, Cuesta’s Fiesta, Cod Squad, Whoopie Wagon and Mimzee’s. Plus live music by Uncharted Watahs and fireworks by American Thunder. Bicentennial tee-shirts, hoodies, commemorative calendars and Madame Varney tea towels will be for sale.
Come on down to Coley Lee Field at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School on Sunday, August 6th for a night of “pops” and big band music from Hillyer Festival Orchestra. And once the sun goes down….the fireworks go up. After much success with last summer’s centennial fireworks show, Peabody has decided to return with another Fireworks Spectacular! Mayor Bettencourt’s Annual Summer Concert and Fireworks Spectacular will begin at 7:00 p.m. Feel free to bring your blankets and lawn chairs.
Note: Due to the weather, these events have been postponed to Labor Day Monday. The Mayor's Race is a major part of the Gloucester Schooner Festival 2025, where participating schooners in the weekend activities compete for for the Esperanto Cup, Ned Cameron Trophy and Betty Ramsey Trophy off Eastern Point and East Gloucester.
