In this much-anticipated program, Bethani Garland, a wildlife biologist and rehabilitator from On the Wing, will present audiences with five different raptors (birds of prey). You will observe the birds and learn their different calls, the best locations to sight hawks, falcons, and owls, and understand how different body shapes affect how raptors hunt their prey in the air.

Peabody Essex Museum celebrates Earth Day in Salem Massachusetts. Join in a variety of hands-on activities in Wes Sam-Bruce’s Mobile Art Studio. Consider what freedom means to you and your relationship with nature through writing prompts inspired by the Jewish Arts Collaborative and National Poetry Month. Meet members from the Backyard Growers Program, a nonprofit organization that has built more than 200 raised bed gardens, serving hundreds of Gloucester residents, and learn about the food system, the garden ecosystem and the science behind growing food.
