Arts Fest is an annual celebration of the arts in the Gloucester Public Schools, a day to enjoy creativity, connection, and celebrating our students’ talents as a Gloucester community. It is led by the Gloucester Education Foundation in partnership with the Gloucester Public Schools, Cape Ann Museum (CAM), and a host of local arts and cultural partners.
Celebrate nature at GUS with a variety of hands-on activities and nature-based projects led by GUS educators and partners from across the North Shore. This free, family-friendly event, is open to the public.
Come on your own, with friends, or bring the whole family to the museum for a special week of programming. During Eagle Festival Week, join North Shore Field Teachers at a popular viewing area to spot Bald Eagles along the Merrimack River and learn about behaviors such as soaring, fishing, and showing courtship displays. BevRec invites teens to learn the basics necessary to umpire Little League and Girls Softball games. Open to anyone who will be 13 years old by March 28th. Training includes rules of the game, on-field situations and umpiring mechanics for youth games. All participants receive a rule book.
