The Essex Lion's Club hosts the annual turkey trot in beautiful Essex Massachusetts! This year the race is a 5K and a 5k fun walk. Race starts at 11:00am for runners and 10am for walkers. Registration is at Woodman’s Restaurant (upstairs), 121 Main Street, Essex, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, or pre-register online.
Rowley Volunteer Fire Protection Association Hosts 1st Annual Rowley Veterans Day 5K and Kids 1 Mile Fun Run. The Rowley Volunteer Fire Protection would like to sponsor this event to help raise money for our Rowley Veterans Committee as well as start raising money for next year's Memorial Day Parade. We hope to get as many participants as possible. If you would like to donate, please follow the link for donations. Mark your calendar for Sunday, October 13th for the 4rd annual Magtoberfest. Lexington Avenue will be filled with food, music, vendors, and fun. This Community Block Party is also a fundraiser for the Magnolia Library and the Magnolia Community Farmer's Market. A parking shuttle will be available from Stage Fort Park and is an easy way to get to the event.
Run the trails of Ravenswood Park during the height of foliage season this year at the Ravenswood Trails Race! This 4.1-mile trail race provides a beautiful overview of Ravenswood Park at the height of fall color, from rugged trails and boardwalks to carriage roads and stunning vistas.
The Lone Gull 10k starts at Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester and follows one of the most beautiful shoreline roads in New England. All proceeds go to the programs at The Children’s Center for Communication/Beverly School for the Deaf. Race day registration, parking & staging is at the Good Harbor Beach parking lot.
ECTA is holding its 7th Annual Thanks for the Trails 5k and Kids Fun Run the Saturday after Thanksgiving at Patton Park in Hamilton (November30, 2024). The Kids' Run will begin at 9:30AM and the 5k will start at 10AM. Using a scenic and challenging course and offering great prizes, this will be an event for all! Super prizes for top finishers, and many other terrific prizes!
