Birds of prey - masters in free-flight. That's what you'll find daily at the interactive bird show at Stone Zoo. The wildly popular seasonal bird show features more than a dozen different bird species from around the world, including the bald eagle, king vulture, wedge-tailed eagle, black vulture, Abdim’s stork and many others, in this engaging, memorable and educational experience for visitors of all ages.
The birds will fly in from overhead and demonstrate natural behaviors including unique survival techniques and food foraging, as well as specialized physical adaptations. The show also offers several opportunities for audience participation and afterwards guests can get up close and personal with some of the birds and their trainers. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to watch these acrobats of the sky!
The show runs May 3 through September 1. Daily show times are 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. in the amphitheater. There is no admittance while the show is in progress.
