Do you love graphic novels? Want to read them with your friends? Do you like tasty snacks and fun activities? If you are in grades 4-7 and answered yes to any of these questions, join the library's Graphic Novel Club today! We meet monthly from January to June. Our first book will be Freestyle by Gale Galligan. Pick up a copy today and read it for our first meeting on January 17th at 4 pm. Hope to see you there!
Families are invited to the library to come make their own gingerbread house out of graham crackers. Design your own candy wonderland! Registration is required.

The Annual Winter Lights on Cape Ann is a festive event celebrating the holiday season, running from late November through New Year's Day. Over 100 local businesses in Gloucester, Essex, Ipswich, Manchester-by-the-Sea, and Rockport are participating by decorating their storefronts with lights and creative displays. A decorating contest is back by popular demand, allowing visitors to vote for their favorite decorated business in each of the five communities.

Our engaging and experienced staff will introduce families to local beaches, forests, and wetlands to make observations in nature, identify wildlife, and enjoy hands on science activities outdoors. The Manchester Public Library invites kids to Enter the World of the Wise Fool, and take an inspiring journey to Medieval times and an uproarious performance. To allow for ample space, we will be at the Chapel next door (First Parish) but return to the library for hot cider and cookies following.
