Landmark School's 5K Road Race and Kids 1K Fun Run are part of their Homecoming & Fall Festival. It is one of the largest events of the academic year, bringing together students, parents, alumni, faculty, friends, and members of the broader North Shore community. This event is also part of the Landmark Cares fundraiser, which helps students who have dyslexia reach their full potential.
Families are invited to the Beverly Regional Airport for a weekend of fun! Come for an action-packed day featuring six amazing live performers, remote control aircraft displays, and static and military aircraft exhibits. Watch skydivers at noon and enjoy a variety of food trucks on site. Take a ride in a historic C-47 airplane, and if you’re looking for a premium experience, VIP seating is available.
Join professional Dungeon Master Allan “Danger Wizard” Knowles in an interactive D&D 101 session! Learn the basics of playing and running your own D&D campaigns with friends and family. Participants will come away with everything they need to get started, including pre-made and blank character sheets and a custom one-shot adventure (an adventure playable in a single session) they can bring home.

Come by the side lawn of the Library to create a solar powered bug! Find out why bugs are attracted to light and how solar energy works to move your bug! Registration is required. For this school vacation week, travel across the world without leaving Salem by learning traditional Chinese paper cutting with local guest artist Zhonghe (Elena) Li on Monday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons. Join us for film screenings in Morse Auditorium on Friday, and challenge yourself all three days with a museum-wide dragon scavenger hunt!
Come play with a variety of building toys, including magnetic tiles and straws and connectors. Kids of all ages and abilities are welcome, but please take note that some of these building toys have small pieces. Drop in any time between 3:00 and 4:30 p.m. to participate.
