Dads & Donuts Storytime

Dads & Donuts Storytime at Hamilton Wenham Library

Dads & Donuts is a story time designed especially for dads and children ages 2 and up. You don't have to be a dad either.  Moms, grandparents, or partners - everyone is welcome to attend and eat delicious sticky donuts. The event will be held in the children's room. Snacks will follow 30 minutes of stories based around the theme of Fractured Fairytales! Enjoy stories with donuts, juice and coloring to follow.

In every kind of weather, our favorite thing is to head outdoors to our spectacular local habitats! Each nature exploration will focus on the importance of a sense of place as we explore the ecology, sights, and sounds of our natural landscape. Wildlife, local and migrating birds, collecting techniques, and environmental awareness will be presented in a fun, energetic format that adults and children alike will enjoy.

It’s the craziest, most creative bubble show around. Jeff juggles bubbles, sculpts and builds with bubbles, makes fog-filled bubbles and more. Sally Patty and the Storyteller

Sally Patty the Doll and Story-Teller Sharon Grimes visits the Ipswich Museum

Kids and their families are invited to the Ipswich Museum for a fun session of stories, singing and dancing! "Sally Patty" the doll and local storyteller Sharon Grimes will be here at 3pm for storytelling, song and dance. This program complements our winter exhibit “Focusing on the Child,” featuring objects, images, and family-friendly activities. First floor rooms open for viewing. Exhibit features a "Kid's Corner," with modern and reproduction toys for hands-on play.
