Ipswich Harvest Market on the Center Green in Ipswich Massachusettts

Come join us for a community marketplace for all things Ipswich, sustainable, handmade, and community grown. There will be fresh food, crafts and great music.  We will highlight the Autumn/Harvest theme that comes naturally with a late October market as well as tying into Ipswich Illumination, which takes place later that day.

There will be live music and kids activities.  Hope to see you there!

My Life, My Health free workshop at the YWCA Greater Newburyport.

The Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (My Life, My Health) is for anyone living with an on-going medical condition like: high blood pressure, arthritis, heart disease, asthma, chronic back pain, parkinson's, chronic fatigue, fibomyalgia and more. Family members, friends and caregivers can also participate.

Beverly Commons Trail Run

The Beverly Commons Trail Run benefits the Essex County Greenbelt Association

Sponsored by Greenbelt – Essex County’s Land Trust. This is a  Challenging 3.5 Mile Loop thru the woods of Beverly Commons. The 7 Mile race is part of the 2018 New England Running Company Trail Race. Proceeds support Greenbelt’s land conservation work throughout Essex County.  Go to the Greenwood Ave Trailhead on Race Day.

Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood, and thousands of doantions are needed every day. Your donation is needed right now. Sponsored by Jalapeños Restaurant, Gloucester Firefighters, Sawyer Free Library, and Addison Gilbert Hospital (a member of Lahey Health). Run for the Hills Trail Run 5k/10k

The Run for the Hills 5k takes place at Pingree School in Hamilton!

This race offers both a 5K  and a 10K race. The 10K distance is part of the 2018 New England Running Company Trail Series. The race course winds through the beautiful wooded hills behind the Pingree School. Lahey Health hosts the Fourth Annual Teddy Bear Clinic and Ice Cream Social As part of the Danvers Family Festival.  Bring your favorite stuffies to a Teddy Bear Clinic at Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers. The bears and other stuffed animals will explore health care experiences, providing children an opportunity to play doctor and learn about healthy habits from clinicians at Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers. Does your child’s teddy bear or favorite snuggly toy need a check-up? No teddy bear? Don’t worry! The first 100 “doctors” will get a brand new teddy bear for participating.
