Enjoy free admission, "ask a naturalist" opportunities, the occasional guided walk around our grounds and free cake! Back in 1916, the Moose Hill Bird Sanctuary was established in Sharon when Dr. George W. Field offered his estate to Mass Audubon to attract birds and people interested in birds. Fast forward to 2016 and there are 56 wildlife sanctuaries to explore in Massachusetts!

Andover is celebrating 375 years! The Town’s 375th Committee invites everyone to join them on Saturday, September 25 from 10 AM – 7 PM at the lower Shawsheen playground and track. Community Day will offer a variety of day/early evening activities including entertainment, classes, food booths, informational booths, performances, a movie on the big LED screen, laser light show and an illumination of the Shawsheen River! There will be fun for everyone. The event is free and open to the public.

Rockport’s Millbrook Meadow and Mill Pond will have a “Grand Re-Opening” Saturday (August 17) with a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. The ceremony will be held midway through the park. There’ll be popcorn, strolling miniature horses, Millbrook Meadow souvenir bandanas, nature explainers, music, jugglers, and Rockport’s annual Rubber Duck Race.
