Make time for a Traditional Lobster Bake, Chowder, Chicken, etc. available all day at Lynch Park. Dine at picnic tables under the tent while listening to local bands. Local businesses, politicians, and non-profits will be set up around the park to share information with you. Amazingly, 90% all the trash from this event is diverted from the waste stream with the help of Beverly’s Waste Reduction Committee. Keep your eye out for composting and recycling stations under the tent. Cash and cards accepted. Check our website and facebook page for updates on the price of lobster the day before Lobster Fest. All are welcome!
Join National Park staff at Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site for a 30-minute tour of The Iron Works House. Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site preserves and interprets the first sustained, integrated iron works in British Colonial America, which operated on the Saugus River from 1646 to 1670. Explore the place where European iron makers brought their special skills to a young Massachusetts colony. Saugus Iron Works is a twelve-acre National Historic Site that includes working waterwheels, forges, mills, a historic 17th century home, and a lush river basin.

Enjoy a self-guided walking tour of the 25th Annual Outdoor Sculpture at Maudslay Exhibit September 8-29 featuring 50 site specific sculptures by local artists addressing this year’s theme, ‘Thread' within the magnificence of Maudslay State Park in Newburyport. Look for the large green trail head signs featuring sculpture locations and instructions for downloading our simple phone app which will include the sculpture locations, photos, and artist statements.

Quintessential Brass takes the role of the brass quintet to the limit and beyond playing Classical, jazz, rock, funk and pop hits, as well as music from movies, TV, Broadway and the Big Band Era. Programs are selected to entertain audiences of all ages. This brass quintet consists of five full-time professional musicians who have, individually, performed with groups all over the world, recorded CDs and movie soundtracks, performed for Presidents, and at venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.
