We will plant Pansies and other spring plants into a spring basket to make a living Easter Basket that can be given as a gift or kept for your Easter doorstep. Nothing says Easter and springtime like Pansies!
In addition to pick-your-own favorites like zinnias, cosmos and rudbeckia, visitors will find new varieties to add pop and flair to their bouquets. The garden is fun for all ages and there is always something new to learn! Please note there is a fee to cut flowers and picking is only available at the Cutting Garden during PYO hours.
Maudslay State Park has one of the best shows of flower bloom in the Commonwealth. Enjoy a guided walk along the river to view this beautiful area of the park, and learn about the natural, cultural and historical content of this location. J.G. Whittier’s famous poem “The Laurels” will be highlighted during the walk. Comfortable walking shoes, water and sunscreen are recommended. For: All Ages.
